Little is know about Iran's election but it is obvious that the election was a fraud which was proven recently with the release of the fact that more people voted than the population of the cities they were in. This shows the relative stupidity of the winning party, if they were going to stuff the ballot box they should have at least made it a close election so that there would have been less opposition. Four million votes was the difference between the to candidates and outrage has flooded the streets of Iran's cities with rallies against the obviously fixed election. Between the two candidates there is really very little difference. The real fight is the fight to prove that Iran can be a democracy, the fact that they can elect fairly a leader would improve the country. Though the US is a democracy and its citizens would obviously like to support a fair election there is little President Brock Obama can do. The US is widely hated in the Middle East and to support or oppose either side could have unwanted ramifications. We can only hope that the citizens of Iran will succeed in their protests and that the death toll from these rallies does not continue to rise. Though the reports that our media is getting from twitter and Iran blogger does not look very promising on that front.
